Born to a father who preached and a mother who prayed, I was fortunate to see genuine Christianity on a daily basis. However, being the son of a preacher was not sufficient for my peace with God. I came under conviction for my sin, was drawn to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at an early age. Several years after my salvation, I became convicted for a deeper walk to serve the Lord. One Sunday morning I was called to preach by the Holy Spirit. I surrendered to that call in 1984. I began the ministry to young people and have served as Youth pastor for 18 years. I served 81/2 years as chaplain for Knoxville Police Department.

My formal education consists of three years at Clear Creek Bible College, and some other courses at Bethany Bible College. More time was given to a children's home in Mississippi. And now the Lord has placed me at Mt Sheba Christian Boarding School. My purpose is to help teens who are deemed to be hopeless, helpless, and hurting with the message that Jesus can heal their hurting heart.
